I have to admit this is a new technology for me, but I am very excited about it. I'm still trying to clarify its purpose within the CC universe, but I see it having some real possibilities. My initial thought was that this would give folks a place to reflect on their CC hosting experiences, but with further investigation, I realized that this is a place for CC Central to reflect on their experiences. For me personally, I see it as a way to share, reflect on and respond to many of the wonderful host anecdotes that come across my desk. I also think that it will be a place for me to share hosting tidbits, let you know about improvements we make to the website, etc., and maybe just a place to share my story working as the CC Administrator. It is such rewarding work, and now that we have a growing sense of home and community, I couldn't be happier in my role.
I hope everyone will take time out to look over the revised website and let me know about things you'd like to see on the website either through the blog or via email. I'm still in the tweaking stages and we may yet see some significant changes.
So here is my first official blog entry...wow, what an amazing world we live in. Being able to reach out to friends and friends not yet met anywhere and everywhere throughout the world with just a few keystrokes.
